International Students Participate in Cultural Exchange Program at Anandilal Podar Trust

The Anandilal Podar Trust hosted students and professors from East Tennessee State University, USA, for a unique cultural exchange program. This event was organized under the “Workaway Destination Nawalgarh” initiative, aimed at providing international students with a deeper understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage and Rajasthan’s vibrant Shekhawati region.

A total of 12 students and 4 professors participated in the program. The exchange not only provided academic insights but also offered an immersive experience of India’s diverse cultural traditions.

During their visit, the students explored Nawalgarh’s historic havelis and temples, gaining insights into the region’s architectural and cultural legacy. They also engaged in discussions on Rajasthan’s history, art, and heritage. A highlight of the program was their participation in traditional Indian festivities and a culinary experience featuring authentic Rajasthani cuisine.

Ms. Rishika Podar, Project Head to Destination Nawalgarh emphasized that this initiative marked a first-of-its-kind cultural exchange in the region, promoting India’s rich heritage and tourism on a global scale. The visiting students were highly appreciative of the trust’s efforts in organizing such an insightful and engaging program.
