Run of Hope: A Celebration of Spirit, Strength & Community
Marking the 105th glorious year of the Anandilal Podar Trust, the 3rd Podar Mini Marathon transformed the streets of Nawalgarh into a vibrant symbol of unity, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.
With 700+ participants, this year’s Run of Hope stood as a powerful reminder of the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and collective positivity. The marathon was flagged off by esteemed dignitaries, including C.I. Mr. Ajay Singh, Advocate Mr. Shrikant Murarka, Mr. Birbal Singh Godara, Mr. Gajanan Saini, Prof. M.C. Malu, Mr. Vikash Pasricha, and Dr. Satyendra Singh, along with principals from Podar institutions, reinforcing the Trust’s commitment to social and educational impact.
Dr. Vedica Podar, Trustee and founder of Kangaroo Minds, shared that the event is a tribute to the values and vision of Late Shri Kantikumar R. Podar, while also emphasizing that such initiatives play a vital role in promoting mental health and everyday well-being, encouraging individuals to adopt healthier and more balanced lifestyles.
The marathon was thoughtfully organized across three age categories, 10–17 years, 18–45 years, and 45+ years—ensuring inclusive participation across generations. Outstanding performers in both men’s and women’s categories were honored with cash prizes along with mementos and certificates. Among the winners, Abhishek Kumar and Krinjan excelled in the 10–17 age group, Rahul Kataria and Tina led the 18–45 category, while Omprakash Kansujia and Rajshree Sharma emerged victorious in the 45+ group.
The event was further elevated by the remarkable spirit of 94-year-old Mr. Gularam Sunda and divyang participant Mr. Dharmveer Singh, whose participation inspired everyone present and beautifully demonstrated that determination knows no age or limitation.
Mr. Rajiv Podar, Chairman of the Podar Trust, emphasized that the marathon is not merely a race, but a movement aimed at fostering health, positivity, and hope within society. Mr. M.D. Shanbhag, Executive Director, commended the event for its discipline and grandeur, reflecting the Trust’s strong organizational values.

Celebrating Innovation, Education, and a Legacy of Excellence
The 8th Annual Science Exhibition, Educational Fair, and Cultural Program – ‘Sur Sanjeevani’ was inaugurated with great enthusiasm at the educational institutions run by The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh, an institution with a glorious legacy of more than a century in education on the sacred land of Shekhawati.
The Science Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Jhabar Singh Kharra, Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development, Housing, and Self-Governance, Government of Rajasthan. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Rajiv K. Podar, Chairman of the Podar Trust.
Distinguished guests included Mr. Alexander Matsukao, Consul General of Belarus; Shri Onkar Singh Lakhawat, Chairman of the Rajasthan Heritage Conservation and Promotion Authority; Ms. Sanjivani Bhelande, renowned Bollywood playback singer; Dr. Arun Garg, District Collector, Jhunjhunu; Shri Sudanshu Kasliwal, Trustee, Podar Trust; Mr. M.D. Shanbhag, Executive Director, Podar Trust; and Prof. M.C. Malu, Secretary, Podar Trust.
The event began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony before the statue of Goddess Saraswati, followed by the ribbon-cutting. Guests explored the exhibition and appreciated the creativity of students, who showcased over 167 working and non-working models and charts.
Mr. Rajiv K. Podar highlighted that Podar Trust continues its 105-year legacy while embracing modern education, focusing on making students socially, economically, and professionally self-reliant.
Mr. Jhabar Singh Kharra appreciated the Trust’s role in spreading education in Nawalgarh and emphasized the collective responsibility to strengthen this legacy. Mr. Alexander Matsukao acknowledged the Trust’s century-long contribution to education, while Mr. Onkar Singh Lakhawat applauded the Podar legacy and leadership in education, sports, and social initiatives since before independence.
The second phase featured a cultural performance by the famous Bollywood playback singer Ms. Sanjivani Bhelande who stole the heart of the audience by her soulful voice and songs.
The evening also commemorated the 125th anniversary of the Podar Haveli Museum and the 105th anniversary of Podar Trust.
Trustee of Podar Trust, Dr. Vedica Podar, along with Mr. Vikas Pasricha (COO), and Principal Dr. Satyendra Singh,Dr. Vinod Kumar Saini (Director PR& IP) expressed their happiness at the grand success of the event, attended by principals, faculty members, parents, alumni, and citizens of Nawalgarh.

With the objective of presenting Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and the glorious history of Shekhawati to the world, the 16-day international educational program ‘Destination Nawalgarh’, organised by The Anandilal Podar Trust, concluded successfully on 16 January.
The program welcomed students from East Tennessee State University (USA), who began their immersive journey on 1st January with traditional Rajasthani hospitality. Over sixteen days, students experienced a balanced blend of academic engagement and cultural immersion.
Participants explored the renowned frescoes of the Podar Haveli Museum and historic havelis of Shekhawati, gained insights into traditional architecture, and engaged in experiential learning through mehndi art, rangoli, sari draping, daily yoga, kite flying, camel riding, and Makar Sankranti celebrations—making the visit a deeply enriching learning experience.
Academically, the program encouraged dialogue on sustainability and social entrepreneurship, with discussions on skill development, employability, women’s empowerment (Learn & Earn), organic farming, and innovation, highlighting the alignment of Indian values with modern global thinking.
Students from the History cohort explored India’s civilizational journey, studying the Indus Valley Civilization, the Maurya and Gupta periods, and the freedom struggle, gaining a comprehensive understanding of India from ancient to modern times.
At the closing ceremony, Ms. Rishika Gupta Podar, Project Director, emphasized the initiative’s aim to take Indian cultural and educational values to an international audience, describing Nawalgarh’s frescoes as living history and a strong expression of Shekhawati’s heritage. She noted that the program fosters cultural connections, strengthens local art and community participation, and integrates tradition with sustainability, aspiring to position Nawalgarh as a globally respected center for experiential learning.
Mr. Vedant Podar, CEO & Co-founder, Podar Eduspace, highlighted that the program’s focus on sustainability and social entrepreneurship supports future-ready employability skills for youth.
Hon’ble Chairman Mr. Rajiv Podar expressed pride in the program’s success, reaffirming the Trust’s belief in integrating education and culture to establish Shekhawati’s heritage globally.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Christopher Keller, Dean of the Honors College and Senior International Officer at East Tennessee State University, described Destination Nawalgarh as a valuable part of ETSU’s global education portfolio, underscoring the importance of understanding India’s global role.

The Anandilal Podar Trust (APT) Signed an Agreement of Intent with Lomonosov Moscow State UniversityLomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) to establish a framework for cooperation in implementing academic and educational interaction in areas of mutual interest.

The agreement desires to create a framework for cooperation that will strengthen educational, scientific, and cultural ties between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India.

The Agreement was signed by Mr. Y.A. Mazei ,Vice-Rector, MSU and Mr. Rajenda Bolya, Director APT in presence of Mr. Maxim Bychkov, Director of Lobachevsky First University Lyceum, Mrs. Assia Kontrimovich, International Relations Manager, Lyceum, Ms. Natalia Shakhova  (From Russia Side) and Mr. Rajiv Podar, Chairman, Mr. Vedant Podar, CEO and Mr. Mohit Kumar President (From India side).

Established in 1755, The Lomonosov Moscow State University is ranked at #1 in the Russia and ranks #94 in the World University Ranking by QS in 2025. The institute has around 40,000 graduates and about 7,000 UG students. Every year over 4,000 international students enroll at Moscow State University from all over the world. The university includes 15 research institutes, 43 faculties, more than 300 departments, and six branches. As of 2019, 13 Nobel laureates, six Fields Medal winners, and one Turing Award winner were affiliated with the university.

The second edition of “Sneha Utsav – Bhaavnao Ka Mela”, organised by The Anandilal Podar Trust and Kangaroo Minds, brought Nawalgarh together yesterday for a transformative day dedicated to mental well-being. Held at Seth G.B. Podar College, the event united mental health experts, educators, social workers, and students in a shared mission: normalising conversations around emotional wellness.
The event was graced by Dr. Arun Garg, District Collector, Jhunjhunu, as the Chief Guest, and presided over by Dr. Vedica Podar, Founder of Kangaroo Minds and Trustee of The Anandilal Podar Trust.
Dr. Arun Garg set the tone with a powerful reminder that mental health should not be viewed merely as an illness or problem, but a vital pillar of a meaningful life. He called the Podar Trust’s initiative “a priceless gift for future generations.”
Dr. Vedica Podar reinforced the core #vision of the Utsav:
“Emotions are our strength, not our weakness. The purpose of Sneha Utsav is to create a safe space where everyone can express, listen, and understand one another.”
The program also paid homage to the Late Smt. Snehalata ji Podar with the ceremonial lamp lighting.

Seth G.B. Podar College, Nawalgarh, has proudly signed an MOU with the Edunet Foundation, marking a new era of industry-aligned, IT-enabled student training and certification.
Under this collaboration, students will participate in online and offline orientation sessions, gain career guidance through direct interaction with industry experts, undergo a 13-hour IBM-certified training program, and earn prestigious certificates jointly endorsed by IBM and EDUNET Foundation. They will also be connected to local and regional startup ecosystems, unlocking valuable opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

The Anandilal Podar Trust, Nawalgarh, under the leadership of Dr. Vedica Podar, Trustee and Founder of Kangaroo Minds, launched the mental health report Nawalgarh Speaks at the Dr. Ramnath A. Podar Auditorium in Podar College. This community-rooted initiative is based on a survey of 3,371 individuals across the Nawalgarh Assembly constituency, reflecting their perceptions and challenges around Mental Health.
The launch also commemorated the 90th birth anniversary of the Late Shri Kantikumar R. Podar, former Chairman of the Podar Trust, with floral tributes and lamp lighting. The event was graced by Mr. Vikram Singh Jakhal, Hon’ble MLA of Nawalgarh, and distinguished guests, including Smt. Harshini Kulhari (Zila Pramukh), Mr. Sharad Choudhary (D.I.G. Jhunjhunu), Shri Surendra Saini (Chairman, Municipality Nawalgarh), Dr. Kapoor Tholaur (Psychiatrist), and Shri M.D. Shanbhag (Executive Director, Podar Trust).
In his address, Mr. Vikram Singh Jakhal stated that this report would be a turning point for mental health awareness in Rajasthan and India, reflecting his appreciation for the Podar institutions’ social impact.
Dr. Vedica Podar shared that Nawalgarh Speaks is not just a report but a reflection of society’s hidden struggles, hopes, and desire for change. She emphasized that this effort was made possible by the dedication of principals, teachers, and over 100 volunteers from NSS and NCC.
Smt. Harshini Kulhari acknowledged that the report highlights lifestyle challenges and emphasizes patience, self-control, and awareness. Mr. Sharad Choudhary praised Nawalgarh Speaks as a reflection of ground realities and an example of the Podar Trust’s commitment to innovation and service.
Adding to the pride, Mr. Rajiv Podar, Hon’ble Chairman of the Trust, congratulated Dr. Vedica Podar and the team, calling it a proud moment for the Podar legacy. He reaffirmed the Trust’s commitment to building a healthier, more aware India.
Prof. Chetan Dadhich, Dean of Science and co-translator of the report, shared significant findings—over 80 percent of respondents still view mental illness as a weakness, 51 percent support isolation, and 57 percent suggest immediate hospitalization. Yet, growing curiosity signals hope for a shift in perspective.

Podar, the Podar College Alumni Association and Podar Educational Institutions jointly organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Podar College, Nawalgarh. This meaningful initiative paid tribute to the revered former Chairman of the Podar Trust, whose life was dedicated to #education, healthcare, and social upliftment.
The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati and Shri Kantikumar R. Podar. It was graced by Mr. Vikram Singh Jakhal (MLA, Nawalgarh) as the Chief Guest, alongside notable dignitaries, including Smt. Harshini Kulhari (District Chief), Mr. Sharad Choudhary (D.I.G.
